BEST OF SOUTH JORDAN

You decide who’s the best.

Every few weeks we put a category to a community vote — best pizza, best trail, best neighborhood café. Reader votes choose the winners. Placement can’t be bought.

The next vote opens soon.

We’re lining up the first category now. Drop your email and we’ll let you know the moment voting opens.

How it works

Three steps, every round.

1

We nominate.

Each round, we name 8–10 local favorites in one category — the places neighbors already love.

2

You vote.

One vote per person, verified by email. Tell your neighbors — the businesses with the most community behind them win.

3

We celebrate.

Winners are announced in the Utah Grows newsletter and right here, with a decal for their door.

How the vote works

  • Anyone can vote — one vote per person, verified by email.
  • The nominee with the most verified votes in a category wins.
  • Winners get a feature in the Utah Grows newsletter and a decal for their door.
  • Placement can’t be bought — votes decide, nothing else.

Best of South Jordan — Official Rules

  1. 1. Sponsor

These contests ("Best of South Jordan") are sponsored and operated by Morris Information Solutions, LLC, doing business as Utah Grows, South Jordan, Utah ("Sponsor").

  2. 2. What this is

Each Best of South Jordan round is a contest, not a sweepstakes. Winners are determined by popular vote — the businesses receiving the most verified votes win. No element of chance is involved in selecting winners.

  3. 3. Eligibility

    • Voting is open to everyone.
    • Nominated businesses must operate a physical location in or primarily serve South Jordan, Utah.
    • Businesses owned by employees of the Sponsor or their immediate family members are not eligible for nomination.
  4. 4. How to vote

    • Each voting round covers one category (e.g., Best Pizza) and runs for approximately two weeks. Exact dates are announced per round on utahgrows.com/vote.
    • Vote at utahgrows.com/vote. One vote per person per category.
    • Every vote must be verified by email. Unverified votes do not count.
    • Voting is free. No purchase is necessary to vote, and subscribing to the Utah Grows newsletter is optional — it does not affect your vote.
  5. 5. How winners are determined

    • The business with the most verified votes in a category wins.
    • In the event of a tie for the most verified votes, all tied businesses are winners.
    • The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify votes that appear fraudulent, automated, or submitted through multiple email addresses by the same person.
  6. 6. Prizes

Prizes are not cash awards, have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. The prizes for each round are announced with that round's ballot. Placement in these contests cannot be bought.

  7. 7. Winner notification and claiming

    • Winners are announced in the Utah Grows newsletter and at utahgrows.com/vote.
    • Winners must claim their prize (confirm business details for the feature) within 30 days of the announcement. Unclaimed prizes are forfeited.
  8. 8. Publicity

By accepting a prize, winners agree that the Sponsor may use their business name and likeness in announcing results, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

  9. 9. General conditions

    • The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify a voting round if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the contest.
    • The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected votes, or for technical failures of any kind.
    • These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
